Each cell here holds a plug 2.625 in high and 1.25 in wide. Fifty of them sit in one insert that drops into a standard 10 in by 20 in tray. The plugs arrive filled, pH balanced and already moist, so the tray goes from pouch to bench without a soak. Each one is OMRI listed coco coir, peat moss and biochar, held together by an all-natural, food-safe binder. A proprietary nutrient blend carrying Trichoderma, a beneficial fungus, comes pre-loaded in every plug. Any white growth on the surface is that fungus at work. Push each stem in snugly until it stops about halfway, which still leaves a deep column of medium below the cut. Hold the tray under a dome at 70% to 100% relative humidity and mist the leaves straight away. Seeds take the same hole at the same depth, then a warm, dark spot until they crack. In nursery trials, clones rooted about 20% faster in these plugs than in other leading brands.

Tall Plugs That Give Long Cuttings Room to Root

That height changes how the tray behaves on the bench. More medium per cell means the plugs dry back slowly, which gives a longer rooting window between waterings. Roots fill a straight vertical column, and the rooted plug sets neatly into a tall pot or a deep slab hole. The trade-off is water weight, so overwatering shows up quickly as soggy plugs and slow stems. Lift the tray before every watering and add water only once it feels noticeably lighter. Never let the plugs go bone dry once cuttings are in them. Unused inserts keep for months in their lightproof, resealable pouch, and a dried tray rehydrates with clean water. The single tray comes with a catch tray and suits one clone run in a tent or small room. Cases and pallets ship without catch trays, aimed at propagation areas that already run their own flats. Kosher certification and a fully compostable plug make these trays an easy fit for growers supplying certified food buyers.

Key Features

2.625 in Tall, 1.25 in Wide: Seats a long-stemmed cutting and still leaves a deep rooting column below the cut.

Slow Dry-Back: More medium per cell stretches the time between waterings during rooting.

Arrives Filled and Moist: Fifty pH balanced plugs per insert, ready for cuttings the day the pouch opens.

OMRI Listed Ingredients: Coco coir, peat moss and biochar keep propagation in line with an organic program.

Trichoderma in the Plug: A nutrient blend carrying beneficial fungus is in place before the first cutting goes in.

Kosher Certified and Compostable: The only Kosher-certified plug on the market, bound with a food-safe binder.

Three Formats: Single tray with catch tray, case of 5, or pallet of 200 trays.

Technical Specifications

<table style="width:100%;
